The 6 EC Policy Statements to Conference should now be on branches and are on the National FBU website.

Members should be discussing all the documents and forwarding any amendments to their Brigade Committees asap-closing dates for amendments is 21st May.

The Re-Organisation paper has already initiated much debate and I ask that all members read the paper and its recommendations in great depth, as well as the other statements.

It is you the members who inform your reps which recommendations you accept,want amended, or do not support.

It is vital your vote is noted and taken forward. Please arrange watch,branch, borough meetings to inform your officials so that I am able to report back to the Executive Council what members in each Brigade have decided on each of the EC Policy statements.

Officials will endeavour to attend as many meetings as possible as long as you let us know when they are.

The FBU wants to continue as a strong Independent Trade Union carrying out the wishes of its membership
